About Guitar Charts
Guitar Charts is a free guitar reference tool created by Michael Clark. Find scales, modes, arpeggios, triads and chords in different keys, see where the notes sit on the fretboard and hear how they sound.
Using Guitar Charts
Choose a root note and a chart type using the selectors below the page title. Tap a note to hear it, or use the play buttons to hear a whole shape. Red notes mark the root, so you can see how each shape relates to the key.
The aim is to keep the diagrams clear and the pages simple, so you can use them as a reference while practising.
